I answered this question on the new beauty blog here.
XO
Guys, after fielding a lot of questions here, and the success of the beauty posts on Holier than Now, and the fact that I’ve been in the beauty business for most of my adult life, and because I love the internet
I STARTED A SITE ABOUT CULT BEAUTY PRODUCTS.

YES, it’s a great moisturizer. If you want to truly turn back the hands of time, see your derm though. But La Mer is a great product.
But if you don’t like heavy moisturizers or if you have acne prone skin, the Oil Absorbing Lotion … oh my god, the best product EVER. I wish I was rich.
Philosophy Hope in a Jar, at night. Get the tiny jar and see how you like it - I think there is an even smaller one at Sephora in the stores. For day I’m really feeling Fresh Fresh Face Rose Primer, which is basically a lotion - that is, if you don’t want a tinted moisturizer which I do think is great for summer as it adds a little color. If so then Aveeno Tinted Moisturizer is my favorite and it will def. make you glow (not in a fake tan way).
XO my dear

Hi, if you’re really looking to COVER your whole undereye area (which is a bit much for me, I think a little natural color under the eyes even if it’s dark looks totally fine) I recommend Bobbi Brown creamy concealer, set it with powder.
But I also think a product that provides sheer cover with a bit of light reflection works great and looks way more natural. YSL Touche Eclat is the classic.
I’ve never tried Nars.
My favorite primer right now is actually Fresh Fresh Face Primer in Rose, but I just noticed they have this cute trial kit with the glow primer in it too - which is a great way to test them out. It’s only $10. I like this primer because it isn’t like a silicon gross mess (I hate most primers) and isn’t too-too mattifying which I find drying. It’s a perfect balance.
I apply it with the Real Techniques foundation brush, which is also great for under eye because of the angled shape. Because of the Taklon hairs (synthetic and cruelty free), you can rinse the brush really quickly and it dries perfectly in shape. I rinse it every time I use it. For a few bucks more though you can get the whole collection of priming brushes that includes a pointed foundation brush and a detail brush, which is also good for under eye. I worked on this brand, can you tell? But it’s amazing - trust.

Yes, that is true. It is something of a miracle product.
UPDATE - just wanted to add to this - you definitely should be using a sunscreen everyday if you are using this product religiously and given your age. It makes your skin more sensitive to the sun so you have to protect yourself because ultimately the sun is more damaging than the Retin A is anti-aging. Does that make sense? A daily moisturizer with SPF 30 … like Neutrogena. Ask your dermatologist as she/he can give you samples of the one they like.
